Step by Step, Bringing Clean Water to Communities

Every day, millions of people — mostly women and children — walk miles to fetch water, often from unsafe sources. The Walk for Water event in Nairobi invites communities, partners, and supporters to experience this journey firsthand. Together, we walk not only in solidarity but also to raise vital funds for Humo’s clean water programs across Africa.

What to Expect

  • Community Walkathon: A symbolic 5km walk to reflect the daily struggle faced by families without nearby water access.
  • Awareness Activities: Interactive stations showcasing the importance of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Fundraising Drive: Every registration fee and donation supports the construction of wells, water filters, and sustainable water systems.
  • Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Music, local food stalls, and children’s activities make it a meaningful and joyful day for all ages.

Why Attend?

The Walk for Water is more than an event — it’s a movement. By walking, you stand with families who struggle daily for this basic human right. Together, we raise awareness and directly contribute to life-saving projects that bring clean, safe water to villages across the continent.
