To support the development and implementation of innovative ways to deliver health care, specifically including efforts that focus on quality-of-care and quality-of-life issues and create initiatives to change clinical practices using Quality Improvement disciplines with a strong patient-centric focus

The specific goals of this Corporation are to:

Support efforts that improve the practice of medicine by developing and encouraging wide-spread adoption of:

• model systems to integrate data systems, measure outcomes of treatments and/or provide feedback to providers at the point-of-care,
• decision support systems that allow providers to weigh and balance tradeoffs of various treatments, and
• models to better understand the natural history of diseases such as breast cancer and the value of certain treatments to deal with these diseases;

create and support research collaboration whose purpose it is to:

• model disease risks and treatments, and
• model new health care delivery systems;

improve patient health and wellness through the:

• introduction of health promotion efforts that reduce the risk of developing disease,
• creation and support of systems designed to facilitate patient education and collaboration among patients and providers, and
• creation of pilot programs connected to health promotion and wellness with specific goals to reduce the incidences of disease.
